    Skid Row - Golem Brewery - is a beer representing the theoretically "ordinary" style, but now so rare that it belongs to the ravens. Amber color, solid malt foundation, strong bitterness with the character of traditional noble hops and a lot of fruity esters from fermentation. Why? Well, because California Common is a style in which you use bottom-fermenting yeast that likes low temperatures, and you ferment beer at ale temperatures.

    "In the beautiful year of 2015, three home brewers, members of the Poznań Beer Lodge, decided to implement their crazy ideas on a larger scale. The optimal solution turned out to be a contractual initiative, called a brewery for ignorance. This is how our story begins.

    STORAGE CONDITIONS AND USAGE INSTRUCTION:

    Malt should be stored in a clean, cool (< 22 °C), dry (< 35 RH %) and pest free environment.

    Malt kit 20L - malts 4,1kg, hops 65g

    ADDITIONAL INFORMATIONS:

    Yeast: The kit does not contain yeast, according to the recommendation of the Golem Brewery, the recipe should use bottom-fermenting yeast 2 sachets of yeast W34/70 and ferment in the upper temperature ranges. You can also choose one of the strains we suggest suitable for this style.

    DRY YEAST:

    Fermentis W34/70 - This famous brewer’s yeast strain from Weihenstephan in Germany is used world-wide within the brewing industry. SafLager W-34/70 allows the brewing of beers with a good balance of floral and fruity aromas and gives clean flavors and high drinkable beers.

    Mangrove Jack's Californian Lager M54 - A unique lager strain that has the ability to ferment at ale temperatures without the associated off flavours. Extended lagering periods are also not required. Suitable for California Common and any lager fermented at ambient (ale) temperatures.

    Mangrove Jack's Bohemian Lager M84 - A bottom-fermenting lager strain suitable for European lager and pilsner style beers. This yeast will produce soft, delicate and balanced beers with a dry and clean palate.
    Suitable for German/ Bohemian pilsners, all lager styles, German bocks and more.

    LIQUID YEASTS:

    White Labs WLP1983 Charlie`s fist bump Yeast - Previously called WLP862 Cry Havoc Lager Yeast, this strain is licensed from Charlie Papazian and can ferment at both ale and lager temperatures, allowing brewers to produce diverse beer styles.

    Fermentum Mobile FM31 Bavarian valley - Munich style bottom fermentation strain, ideal for dark lagers.

    White Labs WLP810 San Francisco Lager - This strain makes dry and clean lagers with a light note of apple fruitiness. Sulfur and diacetyl production is minimal making this strain easy to work with and fitting for American-style lagers.
