Use: All types of cork stoppers must be properly prepared for corking. Failure to do so may damage the traffic jams or cork jam. At home, it is enough to immerse the stoppers in hot water for about 3 minutes or place them under a cover over the boiling water. This will make them more plastic, which will facilitate bottle corking.

NOTE: Remember not to “moisten” the corks for too long, as this may damage them. After corking, the bottles should remain upright for one day. This allows the stopper to conform to the inside wall of the bottle neck. Then we place the bottles in a horizontal position, which in turn prevents the cork from drying out (the wine "washes" the cork) and ensures proper gas exchange between the inside of the bottle and the surroundings. After two or three days, check the plugs for leaks. If there is a leak, it will be necessary to replace the cap with a new one.
