This strain tests positive for the STA1 gene, an indicator of Saccharomyces cerevisiae var. diastaticus. This strain may have the ability to metabolize dextrins over time, resulting in higher than expected attenuation.
JOVARU is an ALDONA UDRIENE yeast strain that originates from the famous JOVARU Brewery that has been in operation since the mid-19th century.

STORAGE CONDITIONS AND USAGE INSTRUCTION:
The yeast should be refrigerated (2-3°C).
1. Allow at least 3 hours for package to warm to room temperature
2. Shake package for 30 seconds to resuspend culture
3. Wipe package with a food-safe sanitizer before opening
4. Tear open at notch and pitch into well-areated starter wort
