PRODUCT FEATURES:
Very aromatic, with intense malty flavour. Gives fullness and roundness to the beer colour, improves flavour stability and promotes red colour in your beer. Gives beer fuller body. This specialty variety has been described as “turbo Munich”. Used to produce Amber and dark beers, Scottish type and red coloured beers like Scottish ales, amber ales, red ales, and Irish ales.

Melanoidin malt has high levels of Maillard reactions, or melanoidins, which produce a highly intensive aroma and color. As well as giving the beer a rust color, they lend it a unique taste and dry, full-bodied character. Melanoidins can also have a positive impact on the storage life of the beer.
Red Ale Malt malt is aromatic malt rich in melanoidins. It is recommended for dark beers to enhance color and aroma. A special malting program is used to ensure the right flavor and aroma through controlled Maillard reaction. Flavor of Red Ale Malt is malty and bitter but also roasted and nutty flavors can be found with long lasting linger.
